Jack White - Frozen Charlotte

Frozen Charlotte (named after the antique porcelain dolls and the 1800s folk ballad that inspired them, about a vain young woman freezing to death on the way to a ball) doesn't really do anything Jack White hasn't done before. But breaking ground isn't the point.

As a companion to No Name, it proves the Third Man Records impresario doesn't need to rewrite his rulebook. Especially not when his electrifying business as usual is a rip-roaring 42-minute reminder that he's one of the most vital, visceral things to ever happen to rock.
