Alice Cooper - From The Inside (Preloved) VG

From The Inside is one of Alice Cooper’s most revealing and ambitious records, turning his trademark shock-rock persona into a vivid autobiographical concept album. Released in 1978, it draws on Cooper’s experiences with addiction and rehab, with co-writing and production from Bernie Taupin helping shape the material into sharp, melodic hard rock with a theatrical edge. Songs such as How You Gonna See Me Now and Wish I Were Born in Beverly Hills show a more vulnerable and reflective side without losing his flair for dramatic character work. The result is a distinctive late-70s statement that broadened Cooper’s image beyond outrage and gimmickry.
